Supporting the Development and Implementation of Wyoming’s Consolidated State Plan Title II: Part A: Supporting Effective Instruction

Problem Statement: In order to effectively address educator quality and equitable access to highly effective teachers, the WDE wants to gather additional stakeholder input on the definition and planning for the term "ineffective educator" before implementing the WDE ESSA state plan.
Purpose: NCCC will work with the WDE to access additional information regarding educator effectiveness specific to the Wyoming context and identified needs, facilitate a stakeholder group, and assist with a data collection plan.
Priority Area: Improved organizational structures and processes
Expected Outcomes:
Wyoming is able to continue to align recruitment and retention strategies to make access to quality teaching accessible to all students based on research specific to the Wyoming context.
