Support for North Dakota Indian Education

 
Problem Statement: In order to effectively implement the ND ESSA state plan and provide support to affected LEAs and ND Tribes, ND DPI is requesting assistance from NCCC. ND DPI has identified facilitation, conducting a cross-walk of documents, and sharing of resources as areas where they need assistance from NCCC.
 
Purpose: NCCC wil assist ND DPI in implementing effective process to support ND Tribes and affected LEAs under ESSA by providing facilitation, resources, and conducting a cross-walk of the ND ESSA state plan and BIE state plan.
 
Priority Area: Improved culture and political climate
 
Expected Outcomes:
ND DPI has improved systems to meet the needs of Native American students and ND Native American students have improved academic and social outcomes.
