Innovating SD’s ESSA School Quality Indicators

NCCC Project Supports: In collaboration with the SD SEA, NCCC will: 1) provide a research synthesis to inform the innovation of the school quality indicator process; 2) facilitate a meeting of the SD ESSA Implementation Team to prioritize and narrow the focus for the Fifth Indicator Stakeholder Group; and 3) facilitate Fifth Indicator Stakeholder Group meetings to explore innovative school quality indicators and develop a pilot process for new school quality indicators.

The act was an extensive statute that funded primary and secondary education and emphasizes equal access to education and establishes high standards and accountability.
